OKAY. I promise this will be the last Pokemon related thing that I throw into peoples inboxes for a while. Seriously. If my next submission is anything related to Pokemon, I will draw a request for every single one of my watchers.

Pssshhh okay. This is my entry for the first round of Battle Frontier contest. I just want to see how far I can get. xD;

This took me a long time to finish, mostly because I had to completely re-draw the character design. I'm still not entirely happy with my work on the top half, but I'm pretty happy with how the Pokemon turned out.

Anyway, here's all the info I couldn't fit on this sheet.

Dudders - Ampharos
Ability: Static
Held Item: Amulet coin
Dudders was Renee's first Pokemon and also the one that she uses the most. They met when Renee wandered away from her class during a trip to the Ruins of the Alph in 5th grade. Renee, who was at the time desperately wanted a Pokemon, gave him some berries and convinced him to follow her home. Eventually, she officially caught him, and as much as she says she'd rather have a Pikachu than an Ampharos, Dudders is still probably her best friend. He doesn't always know what's going on, but still reacts quickly, even if it's not in the best way. He holds an Amulet coin because Renee is always looking for a little extra cash to help pay for all the money she's wasted on video games.

Reese - Dragonite
Ability: Inner Focus
Held Item: Leftovers
Reese is Renee's main form of transportation and a present her mother brought her during the first few months of the divorce to try to win Renee over. Friendly, laid back, and often picked on by Nacho. He just goes with the flow most of the time, as long as it's not preventing him from getting food.

Nacho - Gengar
Ability: Levitate
Held Item: Black Sludge
Nacho haunted Renee's house for years before she finally got Dudders and was able to do something about it. He is still the trouble maker of the group. Often the source of Dudders' confusion and likes starting fights between Cruton and Sirius. Tends to pick on Renee as much as the other Pokemon, which is the main reason why she doesn't often travel with him.

Cruton - Sandslash
Ability: Sand Veil
Held Item: Focus Band
Cruton keeps up a bit of a rivalry with Sirius. Renee caught him after she left school to help her burry all of her textbooks. He takes his role on the team extremley seriously and gets pumped up for even the smallest battles. That said, he also has below average Special Defense and gets knocked out easily by any super effective move. Renee tries to keep him away from water and grass type Pokemon as much as she can.

Chuni - Lanturn
Ability: Volt Absorb
Held Item: NeverMeltIce
Chuni is the peace keeper between Cruton and Sirius, but only because she can knock them both out with one well placed Hydro Pump. Only female in the group.

Sirius - Houndoom
Ability: Flash Fire
Held Item: Magnet
Holds a rivalry with Cruton. Sirius is a bit of a show off, and would rather goof around than actually do something productive. Unlike Cruton, he has rather high Special Defense, and can usually take on the average water type, as long as it's level is below his.

*pauses for air* Okay. Now for some info on the Trainer

Renee was born in Violet City, Johto. She attened the Pokemon Trainer Academy in the city until she was 14. Parents divorced when she was 12 years old; her mother, a business woman, is now living in Goldenrod City, while her father is still in Violet City taking care of Renee's 10-year-old brother, Jack. Renee is mostly supported on her journey by her mother. She once held a job at Goldenrod Radio Tower, only to be fired 3 weeks later for sneaking into a studio and broadcasting her own, unauthorized show. She still can't hold a job very long, and has no idea what she wants to do aside from Pokemon training and video games.
She's always wanted a Pikachu, but never been able to get one. So she compensates with a Pikachu Game Boy and as many plushies as she can get her hands on.
